Is an EPS concrete wall load-bearing?
No. The building loads are carried by the load-bearing structure – posts and beams. EPS concrete fills the wall between them and provides its insulation.
Can I use EPS concrete in my design?
It depends on the house design. We always agree the wall solution with the designer. Send us the design or call us – we will tell you whether and how it can be done.
Won't damp or mould appear in such a wall?
It is the most common question, and rightly so. We will publish the material test results on this page. We can already show you an occupied building and explain how the wall performs in practice.
How much does an EPS concrete wall cost?
The price depends on the wall thickness, its area and the type of structure. After reviewing the design, we will prepare a quote and compare it with a masonry wall.
What area do you cover?
Within approx. 120 km of our base: Olsztyn, Elbląg, Ostróda, Morąg and surroundings. For larger projects we can travel further.
Do you also lay floors?
Yes. For over 20 years we have been laying anhydrite and cement floors and screeds. We can do both the walls and the floors in one house. See the floor cross-section.
How much does attic insulation with recycled granules cost?
Recycled EPS granules cost up to PLN 100 per 1 m³ – half the price of mineral wool. With a 30 cm layer, each m² of attic needs 0.3 m³ of granules. Work out the amount and cost in the calculator.
Will mice or martens nest in the recycled granules?
No. Mice and martens do not build nests in recycled granules – unlike in mineral wool.
