Privacy policy (GDPR)

This page explains what personal data we collect through wizbudstyrobeton.pl, why, how long we keep it and what your rights are. We comply with the GDPR – Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016.

1. Data controller

To protect the form against spam, we store a hash of the IP address and the time of sending on the server – for 48 hours, and for blocked spam attempts up to 3 months. We do not store the IP address itself. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in protecting the website against abuse (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
3. Do you have to provide data
Providing data is voluntary. Without your name and phone number, however, we cannot call you back or prepare a quote. Invoice data is required by tax law if we sign a contract.
4. Who receives the data
We do not sell data or share it for marketing purposes. Only our service providers may access it, and only to the extent needed to provide their services:
- OVH Sp. z o.o. (Wrocław, Poland) – website and e-mail hosting; the website files, logs and form messages are stored on its servers,
- Pruszyński.IT Patryk Pruszyński (Dobre Miasto, Poland) – technical support for the website and e-mail,
- an accounting office or legal adviser – where needed for settlements or to protect our rights.
We may also disclose data to public authorities where required by law.
5. Transfers outside the EEA
Data collected through the website is stored on servers in the European Union. We do not transfer it to countries outside the European Economic Area. Facebook is covered in section 10.
6. How long we keep data
- enquiries that did not lead to a contract – up to 12 months from the last contact, unless you ask us to delete the data earlier,
- contract and invoice data – for the period required by tax law (5 years from the end of the year in which the tax payment deadline expired) and until claims become time-barred,
- data processed on the basis of consent – until consent is withdrawn,
- server logs – for the period set by the hosting provider.
7. Your rights
You have the right to:
- access your data and obtain a copy (Art. 15 GDPR),
- rectification (Art. 16 GDPR),
- erasure (Art. 17 GDPR),
- restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR),
- data portability (Art. 20 GDPR),
- object to processing based on our legitimate interest (Art. 21 GDPR),
- withdraw consent at any time – without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
To exercise these rights, write to kontakt@wizbudstyrobeton.pl or call us. We will reply without undue delay and within one month at the latest.
If you believe we process your data unlawfully, you may lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych), ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw, Poland.
8. Profiling
We do not profile users or make automated decisions about them.
9. Cookies and browser storage
The website does not use cookies, analytics or advertising tools. Fonts and all website files are loaded from our own server, and the service area map is a drawing, not Google Maps. That is why we do not show a cookie consent banner.
We store only one piece of information in your browser (localStorage): whether you chose light or dark mode. It is never sent to our server. You can delete it at any time by clearing the site data in your browser settings.
10. Facebook
The website contains a plain link to our Facebook profile. We do not embed Facebook plugins, so visiting the website sends nothing to Facebook. Once you go to Facebook, the rules of Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. apply.
If you follow our profile or message us on Facebook, we process your data to reply and to run the company profile (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). For profile statistics (Page Insights) we are joint controllers with Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. See Meta's privacy policy for more information.
11. Security
The website works only over an encrypted HTTPS connection. Only authorised persons have access to the mailbox and the server.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy, e.g. when the law or the way the website works changes. The current version is always available on this page, with the date of the last change shown at the top.
